Leila Zammatta, 41, president of Magellan Realty LLC, one of downtown Chicago’s most successful real estate sales teams, and a perennial leading producer among city Realtors, has been appointed senior vice president of sales for developer Magellan Development Group.
Zammatta started her real estate career in 1997 and co-founded Magellan Realty in 1999. Most recently she served as president and managing broker. In addition, she also is senior vice president of sales for Lakeshore East, the 28-acre, $4 billion mixed-use neighborhood rising near the confluence of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River.
Since 2000 Zammatta has registered in excess of $300 million in residential sales. She captured numerous awards from the Chicago Assn. of Realtors. She also has been the top producer in the Gold Coast, River North, West Loop and most recently the New East Side. Her name is well known in Chicago real estate.
She attributes those achievements to “hard work, a network of client contacts and affiliation with the brokerage community.”
